Animation workshop with Nicolas Villarreal (Disney and the Jim Henson Workshop) and Anita Lester

With experience at some of the world’s biggest animation studios, including Disney and the Jim Henson Workshop, Nicolas Villarreal is an animator to be reckoned with. Joining us all the way from San Francisco via video link, Villarreal will host a special event workshop incorporating analysis and advise based on the screening of his recent short Pasteurized.

Local animator and illustrator Anita Lester (who illustrated the gorgeous CHIFF 2019 program!) will join us to share hands-on practical skills essential to an animator’s oeuvre, such as drawing, storyboarding and writing.

10am - 2:30pm, with lunch break included. Lunch not provided.

Recommended ages 10-15. Parents are invited to stay for the workshop, or drop their kids off.
