Strange things are happening in the forest! Owl has disappeared, mischievous rats are terrorising the neighbourhood, and the lake is overflowing and threatening the home of our forest friends. Could this be the work of a megalomaniac beaver? Fox and Hare are determined to find out. They must first find their best friend Owl and then find a way to save their homes, but it will push their friendship to the limit!

The latest film by Mascha Halberstad, whose previous feature Oink! screened at CHIFF in 2020, is based on a much-loved series of children’s books and a popular television series. Brought to life with a hybrid of stop-motion techniques and digital 3D animation, Fox and Hare Save the Forest is full of humour and heart.
