Maika: The Girl from Another Galaxy

A fun Vietnamese science-fiction comedy that blends the whimsy of E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial with the slapstick hijinks of Home Alone. 

After losing his mother to illness and then having to say goodbye to his best friend when he and his father unexpectedly move, 8-year-old Hung is having a rough time. But then one night a meteor falls to Earth, which Hung discovers is a crashed spaceship. He meets the ship’s occupant, an alien girl from the planet Maika. Although she needs a little help with her Earthly social skills, Maika has awesome powers and she and Hung soon become friends. 

Together, they embark on a zany, fun-filled adventure while taking on the bad guys and helping Maika find her way home. 

Parental guidance: Some mature themes, crude humour, mild bad language and cartoonish violence may not be suitable for sensitive viewers.
