Australian Premiere
Thelma the little penguin lives with her parents in a cold world of ice. She dreams of having a great big fifth birthday party with family and friends, but her parents don’t understand. So Thelma takes matters into her own hands, setting off on an adventurous journey into the Great Forest where she encounters a life full of colour, warmth and acceptance.
With her companions Vilhelm the cat and Sofia the mouse, Thelma learns confidence, individuality and the importance of friendship. By the time she returns home, Thelma has discovered that she can make her dreams come true without losing her roots. Not only does the world around her change, but she changes too.
